Work Package A : "Steady State and Dynamic Simulation Tools"

Objectives :

The main objective of this WP will be to develop a simulation platform able to simulate the steady state and dynamic operation of three-phase networks that include micro generation sources. This involves the development of adequate models for simulating the operation of the different micro sources and storage devices, including the corresponding power electronic interfaces. A generic model will be aimed at. The tool will be flexible enough to enable the integration of the control strategies, aggregation of micro source models, and the simulation of disturbances.

Since the MicroGrid may use single-phase circuits and be loaded with single-phase loads, the simulation tool must model the system with its three phases, the neutral conductors, the ground conductors and the connections to ground and to be able to deal with unbalance in the three phase network.
