This function is essential in order to achieve seamless transition from interconnected to islanding mode. INESC and ICCS/NTUA will use advanced machine learning techniques (Neural Nets and Decision Trees) to obtain control structures and functions able to achieve such seamless transition to islanded mode. DSM strategies and Scheduling functions need to consider the results of these functions.
