TD2 - Development of equivalents of Microgrids

The analysis of the feasibility of coordinated voltage a frequency support, to be provided by LV Microgrids, requires a previous step where dynamic equivalents of Microgrids will be derived. For this purpose Singular Perturbation theory techniques (or other approaches) will be used, taking into account the specificities of each Microgrid generation and storage devices as well as controllable loads. ICCS/NTUA and INESC Porto will be responsible for this task.
