WPF Field trials on actual Microgrids
The main objective of this WP is the experimental validation of various actual Microgrids in different operating modes. In particular, operation in interconnected and islanded mode and the transition from interconnected to islanded mode and vice versa will be experimented. The centralized and de-centralized control strategies developed within WPB will be evaluated on a number (three) of actual Microgrids. The candidate Microgrids represent rural LV networks and industrial or commercial networks. Multi-Microgrids concepts will be demonstrated. Moreover, the advanced power electronic interfaces (Intelligent Load Switch and smart Battery Storage) developed in WPA and WPC, will be field tested on the study case Microgrids.

TF5 - Experimental Validation of Islanded Microgrids by means of smart Storage (coupled by Flexible AC Distribution System) (Continuon)
TF6 - Field test on the transfer between interconnected and islanding mode (MVV)
TF7 - Field test of different Microgrid topologies at steady and transient state - Power Quality Analysis (CESI)
TF8 - Field test on 150 kV Multi-Microgrid - blackstart and reconnection (ELTRA)
